Alexandra applies a combination of systems-based thinking and business, legal, and analytical and synthesis skills to her work. She began her career as a litigator, then worked as a freelance researcher, writer, and consultant on a range of sustainability projects before joining Framework. She has helped companies develop and implement sustainability-based business strategies, drafted reports, and reviewed report drafts for potential legal risks.
At Framework, Alexandra supports every aspect of client counseling and report development. She applies her knowledge of current and emerging standards, trends, and societal expectations to help clients understand what these developments mean for their company and how to move from theory to strategy and action.
Alexandra also applies her natural inclination to systems thinking to make life easier for clients (as well as improving processes within Framework). One current focus is the development of data-collection tools to help companies streamline their reporting process. These tools save time, minimize repetition of efforts year-over-year, and enable clients to readily see their progress and identify new opportunities.
Alexandra has also taught Legal Research and Writing to first year law students. She graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in American Studies and from Columbia Law School with a J.D.
