Each year, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index measures the degree to which large U.S. employers implement policies and practices to ensure equal treatment of their lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender employees, consumers, and investors.
The HRC evaluates the Fortune 1000 plus the largest 200 U.S. law firms across a comprehensive set of criteria, including equal employment opportunity policies, benefits, LGBT organizational competencies, public engagement, and responsible citizenship.
Framework clients American Airlines, Staples, and Symantec were among the 190 companies scoring a perfect 100% on the 2012 HRC Corporate Equality Index.
